- Now that you've chosen the activity to raise money and awareness, determine how to proceed
- Each class must post their progress on the plan.
- Title your post your class period and main focus for that day. Ex. 1st period - Info on Charity
Ideas:
- Publish the name of the charity and information about the charity
- Does this charity gets a good rating as an honest charity that uses the majority of its funds for the projects and not themselves?
- Research statistics on the need for this work? Use this information to promote awareness - Signs in stairwells with facts about this issue: interesting, colorful, thought-provoking tidbits - the awareness signs will make your audience more receptive to helping
- What about personal stories about people who need this? (Don't go over the top)
- How can you make it relate-able to the general Spain Park population?
- Design your graphics and signage to attract and make them want to help.
- Start a proposal for the activity you have planned if needed (in school or on ground activities will need approval from Dr. Jarnagin - needs to be in writing and approved by Ms. C-S).
- Post your own ideas to draw in more support from other sources.
